The CPF enables all employees and jobseekers to take part in training courses on their own initiative. It accompanies its holder from the moment he or she enters the workforce, throughout his or her career, right up to retirement.
On April 1, 2019, eleven skills operators (OCPO), responsible for supporting vocational training, were approved. They replace the former organismes paritaires collecteurs agréées (OPCA).
These skills operators are tasked with financing apprenticeships, helping branches build professional certifications and supporting SMEs in defining their training needs.
